Dragon Ball<\/a> Daima<\/h2>\n

Einer der ehemals f\u00fchrenden K\u00f6pfe hinter Dragon Ball rechnet mit der Serie ab! Der fr\u00fchere Dragon Ball-Editor Kazuhiko Torishima hat in den vergangenen Wochen zwei Interviews gegeben, in denen er ein paar harte Worte f\u00fcr die Entwicklung des Franchises findet. Und zwar sowohl f\u00fcr den Manga, als auch f\u00fcr die Anime-Serie. Er selbst war einer der engsten Vertrauten von Akira<\/a> Toriyama und war 11 Jahre lang der hauptverantwortliche Editor von Dragon Ball.<\/p>\n

„Es war schei\u00dfe“<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In einem Interview bei DB-Z sprach er diesen Sommer dar\u00fcber, dass Dragon Ball f\u00fcr ihn ein „Werk ohne Bedeutung“ geworden ist. Gestern Abend wurde er im Zuge eines Livestreams sogar noch deutlicher. Vor allem der letzte Ableger der Serie, Dragon Ball Daima, kommt bei ihm alles andere als gut weg.<\/p>\n

So erkl\u00e4rte er in dem Youtube-Stream, dass er Dragon Ball Daima „schei\u00dfe“ fand. Im Interview wurden seine Aussagen mit dem Wort „crap“ \u00fcbersetzt. Au\u00dferdem erkl\u00e4rte er Daima zum „Trash-Anime“. Stattdessen h\u00e4tte man seiner Ansicht nach eine neue Geschichte rund um Vegeta<\/a> produzieren sollen anstatt mit Dragon Ball Super<\/a> und Daima weiterzumachen.<\/p>\n

Kritik am Manga-Markt<\/h3>\n

Zus\u00e4tzlich zu seiner Abrechnung mit Dragon Ball im speziellen, hagelte es auch Kritik am derzeitigen Manga-Markt. Er kritisiert die g\u00e4ngige Praxis, Manga-Panels online zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen und nicht mehr ausschlie\u00dflich physisch zu verkaufen. Denn damit w\u00fcrden sich die Mangaka dem Druck der Algorithmen unterwerfen ihre Werke vereinheitlichen, um sich der digitalen Darstellungsform anzupassen. Er sprach von einem \u201eStarbucks- oder McDonald\u2019s\u201c-Effekt.<\/p>\n

Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt seiner Kritik: die Ausbildung der Redakteure. Verlage stellten zu h\u00e4ufig Leute ein, die fast ausschlie\u00dflich Manga konsumierten. Ohne breitere kulturelle Referenzen aus Film und Literatur schrumpfe der kreative Horizont.<\/p>\n

Auch zur schwierigen Lesbarkeit von Manga \u00e4u\u00dferte er sich. Panelaufteilungen seien oft un\u00fcbersichtlich. Toriyamas Arbeiten nennt er als positives Gegenbeispiel f\u00fcr kristallklare Bildf\u00fchrung. Serien wie One Piece<\/a> sollten im Layout so verst\u00e4ndlich sein, dass sie auch Grundschulkinder problemlos erfassen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Geschichte um Vegeta<\/h3>\n

Im Wesentlichen hat er den Eindruck, dass sich das Dragon Ball-Franchise nicht in die richtige Richtung entwickelt. Wie oben bereits erw\u00e4hnt, sieht er eine Geschichte, die sich auf die Perspektive von Vegeta fokussiert, als bessere Alternative, die auch gr\u00f6\u00dfere Erfolgsaussichten habe. Vor kurzem wurde bekannt, dass Dragon Ball nach knapp einem Jahr Auszeit bald weitergehen soll. Vielleicht lassen sich die Verantwortlichen von der Idee inspirieren…<\/p>\n
