Crunchyroll kündigte am Dienstag an, dass Funimation mit Crunchyroll fusionieren wird und alle Funimation-Inhalte nun auf dem Crunchyroll-Streamingdienst verfügbar sein werden. Dies ist eine wirklich gute Nachricht für Anime-Fans, die nun nicht mehr 2 separate Premium-Mitgliedschaften kaufen müssen.

Funimation-Premium-Abonnenten können bei der Anmeldung 60 Tage lang eine kostenlose Premium-Mitgliedschaft bei Crunchyroll erhalten. Es gibt mehr als 70 Anime-Serien (Sub und Dub), die zum Crunchyroll-Streaming-Service kommen werden.
